Village Green Update

The management group for Flyford Flavell Village Green have been busy over the last few months, which means that the green now has new picnic tables, newly planted native trees, a small orchard of Worcestershire apple varieties, wildflower areas and a dog poo-bag dispenser for those who need to clear up after their dogs.

We are very keen to hear your ideas for further additions and improvements to the amenities on the green. Various grants can be accessed to support funding, and we are currently thinking of installing swings for very young children, an outdoor table tennis table and a boules/petanque court.

Members of the management group will be at the neighbourhood watch event taking place on the green between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 9th November. If you like these ideas, have any other suggestions, or simply want to find out more about the green, please come and talk to us.
