Flyford Green Needs You

20th November 2022

The Village Green is owned by the Parish Council for the local community. It is financially supported by a dedicated investment fund, which is currently returning around £3500 a year, to pay for maintenance and improvements. The maintenance includes regular grass cutting, hedge cutting, and weed control for the path. In addition grant funding has been obtained to fund play equipment, benches, raised beds, planting and a water supply. A management group is being set up, to care for, maintain and enhance Flyford Village Green for everyone to enjoy now, and in the future. Funding for maintenance and improvements will be provided by the Parish Council, who also hold public liability insurance. In addition there will be opportunities to apply for further grants.

We are looking for 6-10 interested people to participate in the group. This is open to any parishioner of Flyford Flavell, Grafton Flyford or North Piddle. Please register your interest by email to Mark Broughton-Taylor at [email protected] by 25-11-22.
