Broadband Update April 2019

The delivery of Broadband to Grafton Flyford and North Piddle is now underway. Since the last update posted on the news feed, avid readers of the minutes will be aware that the contract with BT was signed in September 2018 for delivery of ‘Fibre to the Premises’ by September 2019. We have all witnessed the infrastructure works on the A422 and there are signs of activity around the villages. The latest report from BT is that the contract is on schedule for delivery by September 2019.

Those who are eligible for connection to the new service should have received an email from BT informing them of the improvements when the contract was signed. All other communication will be via the parish council until the service is operational.

There will still be a few properties not included in this scheme and we will pick those up and take the issue back to BT once we have the exact locations of the properties affected.
